Introducing ALICE ARMSTRONG
FINALIST IN UK BLUES AWARDS 2023 “BLUES VOCALIST OF THE YEAR” AND “BLUES ARTIST OF THE YEAR “Really loving that vocal” Craig Charles, BBC Radio 2

Alice Armstrong is a multi UK Blues Awards nominated singer-songwriter from the UK, known for her wide vocal range, unconventional lyrics, enigmatic stage presence and powerful performances peppered with her trademark sense of humour. She has spent the last few years on the stage of many of the UK’s biggest rhythm and blues festivals.  Alice regularly guests with the Stevie Watts Organ Trio, contributing and performing on their latest album “Mission to the Moon” and she provided backing vocals on the Catfish album “Burning Bridges”. Alice also continues to collaborate with UK Blues Award Winners, The Cinelli Brothers, who came runner up in the International Blues Challenge 2023.

Alice has now launched her own musical path with her amazingly talented 5-piece band featuring Stevie Watts (keys), Matt Long (guitar), Kev Hickmann (drums), Josh Rigal (bass) and Gemma Dorsett (bvs).  She is also working on a brand new album of original material and this is scheduled for release in July 2023, following a run of single track releases.

An upcoming musical highlight has been a personal invite from Joe Bonamassa for Alice to bring her band and
perform on his “Keeping The Blues Alive” Cruise in August 2023.

Alice credits Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Donnie Hathaway, Amy Winehouse, Peggy Lee and Dinah Washington to be her main musical influences.
